Why the Women United Leadership Council Deserves Your Support at the Women United & Wine Event

United Way of Greater Union County’s women leadership council “Women United” is excited to welcome you to their first-in-person event - Women United and Wine event at Rosie’s Wine Bar. Enjoy unlimited wine and appetizers. Come socialize and give back to women and families in need of your help. 

Women United is here for its community. We’ve built up a council that aims to establish a foundation where all children, women, and families can achieve their potential. Union County performs significantly worse than most other New Jersey counties in infant mortality, low baby birth weights, and teen birth rates. Women United’s mission is to improve the maternal health conditions for women and their children within Greater Union County.  Maternal Health Conditions encompasses family planning, the health of mothers before and after pregnancy, and the health of infants and children. We believe all children and parents deserve the chance to succeed and thrive in life, at work, and at home.

At this first in-person event with UWGUC and Women United, we aim to create and foster an environment rich with communication, ideas, and new connections with other women in the area. It’s a night that will culminate in bridging businesses, services, and ideas. If you’re unable to attend, consider providing a donation on our website or become a member if you haven’t already!
