Whether you’re a small business, major corporation or a nonprofit, we offer simple and effective ways for your employees to support the community and causes they believe in. Below are two organizations that took it to a different level by incorporating everyone’s favorite past times for their campaign season!
Women’s Leadership Council announces first fundraiser Shop For A Cause!
United Way of Greater Union County’s, Women’s Leadership Council (WLC) will host a “Shop For A Cause” fundraising event at Lord & Taylor in Westfield from 5 PM to 9 PM, Tuesday, December 1st. Five percent of end of night sales will go toward the WLC’s Early Childhood Literacy Initiatives, which include books for children, read aloud volunteer programs, and potential scholarships for students. Lord & Taylor is located at 609 W North Avenue, Westfield, NJ.
Upon arrival guests should check-in at any entrance and bring their print or electronic copy of the invitation. Subsequently, guests can “Shop For A Cause” throughout the store as they check off items from their holiday list. Light refreshments will be served. Linde North America kicks off their Linde Cares Campaign get fit style!
Linde North America launched their national Linde Cares campaign on Tuesday, November 3rd at their headquarters in Murray Hill, NJ. The Linde Cares team put together a push up challenge between two teams of employees where bets could be made on which team would win. Those who placed a bet for the winning team were entered into a raffle for several prizes including iPad Minis and gift cards. This event was held to spread awareness about the Linde Cares Campaign which includes United Way, American Cancer Society, American Lung Association, and the American Heart Association. In just the first week of campaign the company was able to raise over $50,000! With a strong start, Linde is hoping to reach its goal by December.
