United Way of Greater Union County and The Cranford Community Council hosted a “Taste of Cranford” on February 21, 2010 from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. at the Cranford Community Center, 220 Walnut Avenue in Cranford. Guests enjoyed a varied selection of marvelous appetizers, entrees, delectable desserts and fine wines. Participating restaurants (over 30!!!) included: Emma's Brick Oven & Cafe, Garlic Rose, Boulevard 527, The Greek Store and many more.
A diverse selction of wines were available to sample courtesy of Dittrick's Wine & Liquors and The Wine Seller. Beers were provided by The Office Bar & Grill and Climax Brewery (brewed in Union County!)
Guests were treated to sparkling wines from Chandon complimented by Wild Hibiscus Flowers, courtesy of Wild Hibiscus. Signature cocktails for the evening were provided by St. Germain Elderflower Liquer and Montecristo Rum courtesy of Pipeline Brands.
Cheeses were provided courtesy of Jarlsberg, Woolwich Dairy and Gran Maestre Manchego. For more information visit them online.
