A network of dedicated African-American leaders who marshal their resources to address the most pressing issues in the African-American community. AALI’s mission is to mobilize the caring power of the African-American community to improve African-American lives in Union County.

AALI's GOALS
- Encourage greater African-American participation in community and civic affairs
- Increase awareness of local African-American leaders and opportunities to better serve the community through
networking events
- Improve police relations within the community
- Address educational challenges facing African Americans
- Provide new parent training opportunities, focusing on young parents
- Promote the availability/access of Geriatric services
