African American Leadership Initiative (AALI)

A network of dedicated African-American leaders who marshal their resources to address the most pressing issues in the African-American community. AALI’s mission is to mobilize the caring power of the African-American community to improve African-American lives in Union County.

AALI's GOALS

  1. Encourage greater African-American participation in community and civic affairs
  2. Increase awareness of local African-American leaders and opportunities to better serve the community through
    networking events
  3. Improve police relations within the community
  4. Address educational challenges facing African Americans
  5. Provide new parent training opportunities, focusing on young parents
  6. Promote the availability/access of Geriatric services
